The Abelé 1757 Le Sourire de Reims Brut Rosé Millésime 2008 is a prestigious cuvée made primarily from Pinot Noir, vinified using the short 72-hour maceration method (saignée) that gives it aromatic intensity and structure; after which it undergoes a minimum ten years of aging in the historic underground cellars. It has a bright salmon color and delicate bubbles, while the nose displays lively notes of wild strawberries, cherries, and currants.

Abelé 1757 is one of the oldest and most respected houses in the region. Founded in Reims in 1757 by merchant Joseph Abelé, it stands out for its traditional approach and constant pursuit of excellence in production.

Abele 1757 Le Sourire de Reims Brut Rosé Millésime 2008

Appearance:
It has a bright salmon color with coppery tones, reflecting its maturity after long aging in the cellar. The effervescence is constant, with very fine, delicate, and perfectly integrated bubbles, providing visual elegance and announcing a creamy texture on the palate.

Nose:
Very expressive and complex. Fresh red fruits such as wild strawberries, cherries, and currants stand out, combined with floral notes (hibiscus and rose petals). Upon oxygenation, spicy nuances of licorice, clove, and white pepper emerge, along with a fresh menthol touch, bringing dynamism and balance to the aromatic ensemble.

Palate
Broad and enveloping on the palate, with a pronounced vinosity typical of Pinot Noir. Ripe red fruit flavors dominate the palate, supported by lively acidity that lends freshness and precision. Its texture is rich, with a slight phenolic character that provides structure and depth, reminiscent of the style of a light red wine within the finesse of rosé champagne.
