The aging of Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut follows the classic Champagne style and is a very important aspect of its flavor and texture. Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut is aged for a minimum of 15 months in the bottle on the lees, developing fine bubbles, brioche aromas, and a creamy texture.
Moët & Chandon was founded in 1743 by Claude Moët. His grandson, Jean-Rémy Moët, was the one who turned it into a world-renowned brand, partly thanks to his friendship with Napoleon Bonaparte, to whom he dedicated the name "Impérial".
