The Mas Bertran X80 Brut Reserva 2012 is a high-end Penedés Clásico sparkling wine, made from 80% Xarel·lo and 20% red Sumoll from century-old vineyards, with 10 years of aging on lees; it offers complex aromas of white fruit and pastry, fine and elegant bubbles, and a silky, persistent palate.
Mas Bertran winery was founded in 2005 by cousins Roser Carbó and Eva Bertran in Sant Martí Sarroca, Barcelona. What began in the family garage became a modern winery, inaugurated in 2011.

Appearance:
Intense old gold color with soft orange highlights, the result of long aging on lees. Very fine and well-integrated bubbles that add elegance to the visual perception.
Nose:
Complex aromas of ripe fruit (baked apple), caramel, white bread, very ripe melon, butter, cream, and sponge cake. A subtle note of anise, angel hair pasta, and honey also appear, enriching its profile.
Palate
Perfect balance between silky and sweet texture, with a barely perceptible sweetness and a voluminous body.
