The Izar-Leku 2020, produced in the Basque Country from Hondarrabi Zuri and Hondarrabi Beltza grapes, is made using the traditional method with more than 3 years of aging on lees, which gives it complexity and finesse. It features aromas of citrus, green apple, and mineral notes, accompanied by subtle hints of toasted bread and yeast. It is fresh, vibrant, and elegant, with a pronounced acidity, fine and persistent bubbles, and a very characteristic long, saline finish.

Appearance:
Straw yellow color with greenish reflections, bright and clear, accompanied by a very fine and persistent effervescence.
Nose:
Fresh and intense aromas of citrus and green apple, with mineral notes characteristic of its Atlantic origin, enriched by nuances of toasted bread, yeast and light herbaceous touches.
Palate
Dry, fresh and vibrant, with a pronounced and well-integrated acidity. Its bubbles are delicate and creamy, adding elegance to a long, saline and mineral finish, with a persistent and very expressive aftertaste.
