Freixenet Ice Brut is a cava designed to be served in a balloon glass with ice, made with the Macabeo, Xarel·lo, Parellada, and Chardonnay grape varieties to provide more body and aromas. It is aged for 10 to 14 months in the cellar, which gives it a balance between freshness and complexity.
It has a bright pale yellow color with fine and elegant bubbles, intense aromas of ripe pear, peach, floral notes and tropical nuances, and on the palate it is fruity, full-bodied and slightly sweet, with a creamy texture and a long, refreshing finish.
Freixenet Ice is an innovative and refreshing sparkling wine specially designed to be enjoyed served over ice. It is recommended to serve it in a large glass with ice and a slice of fruit (orange, lime, or mint), and it is meant to be drunk very cold, which makes it very popular at parties and events.
