Moët & Chandon Extra Brut Grand Vintage 2016
The Moet & Chandon Extra Brut Grand Vintageis an Extra Brut champagne made with Chardonnay (48%), Pinot Noir (34%), and Pinot Meunier (18%) grapes. It has complex aromas of ripe fruit, toast, and spices, with an elegant, round, and fresh palate. Aged on its lees for approximately 6 years, highlighting its dry and refined character, ideal as an aperitif or with fish and seafood.
Grand Vintage means a champagne from a single and exceptional vintage, aged for maximum complexity and elegance.
Moët & Chandon was founded in 1743 by Claude Moët. His grandson, Jean-Rémy Moët, was the one who turned it into a world-renowned brand, partly thanks to his friendship with Napoleon Bonaparte, to whom he dedicated the name "Impérial".
